I’m not much into sports, but I know a lot of people are and I think those people need hats. This hat is designed so you can pick your team colors and style it anyway you want. Make it a solid color, two colors with stripes, add a third or fourth color, and so on. Bottom line is, make it the colors and color design you want, and then run around town cheering for your sports team.

I’ve written this pattern for both worsted weight and DK weight yarns, preferably wool or a wool blend, but you can use cotton if you don’t like wool. Sizing is for an average adult head or a big child’s head. If you need to adjust the size try going up or down a needle size until you find a gauge that will work for you.
