When completing round, SL ST in 1st HDC.

This hat does not have banding. Keep alternating last 2 rows until you have the length you want.

Slip stitching at each round makes a diagonal “bump” line. This is very noticeable in a solid color yarn.

For the post stitches, pull up after made to stretch out the holes created.
