I just decided I needed to put a heart motif in a coaster. I love to switch up my decor for the seasons! You can you use any type of worsted weight yarn, but I used cotton and wool so it is easily washed with my other linens. Be careful washing wool though, cool water is suggested. Knit yourself or your friends new tea cup or coffee coasters as a house warming gift! This is a great stash buster project or a quick easy knit that can be worked on over a cup of coffee or tea. I provide stitch details to increase the size to knit a towel or dishcloth to match.

Materials you need to complete My Whole Heart Knitted Coaster Pattern:
5mm knitting needles/ US 8
Cotton yarn or other Worsted weight yarn (I used less than 130 yards to complete 4 coasters with left overs) I used wool for this particular coaster shown in the photos.
