Myco the mushroom has an important role to play in the ecosystem, returning nutrients to the soil so that new life can grow. They are a peaceful and curious spirit who roams through the forest, keeping the circle of life turning.

Myco is based on Amanita muscaria, but you can make them as any mushroom by using a different color yarn and leaving out or changing the spots. The glasses are made from a pipe cleaner with the fuzz plucked off- instructions to make them are included with the pattern.

This example was made with Red Heart yarn size 4, and measures 8 ¼ in (21 cm) tall by 6 in (15 cm) wide.
