This “two faced” casebook (or tablet) cozy is worked upside-down in the round, beginning with the ribbing at the top and ending with a three-needle bind-off at the bottom. Work the chart as it is printed, upside-down, so that the motifs will be right side up upon completion. For the sample shown, I used a variety of colorwork techniques, including stranded knitting, intarsia and duplicate stitching. Please use the methods you prefer, based on the patterns and numbers of colors needed per row.

“The man pervades London, and no one has heard of him. That’s hwat puts him on a pinnacle in the records of crime. I tell you, Watson, in all seriousness, that if I could beat that man, if I could free society of him, I should feel that my own career had reached its summit, and I should be prepared to turn to some more placid line of life.” ~ The Final Problem
