I’ve chosen to disable this pattern. It was the first I ever made and the sizing isn’t up to my current standard. Thanks for your interest and patience. <3

Do you like pit bulls, Staffordshire terriers, or boofy little dogs of any description? If so, this puppy-cute pattern may be the one for you.

Myla is a seamed stockinette jumper knit flat from the bottom up. The dog design is created as an intarsia base with small details added through duplicate stitch. Charts for both are provided at the end of this pattern. Advanced knitters may choose to render the entire design through intarsia for more consistent tension and thickness. Knitters may also choose to print out a template (Chart 3) to colour in their own chart based on a dog in their life.

Sleeves are knit separately in the round from the cuff up to the armpit, at which point a shoulder cap is worked flat. The sleeves are attached at the end while seaming the rest of the jumper together. During the seaming process, stitches are picked up around the neckline to create a loose ribbed collar with a buttoned shoulder flap on the left hand side, ideally accessible for a right-handed parent or caretaker.

This pattern has been tech-edited for clarity and accuracy.
