This yarn comes from the UK’s biggest flock of Border Leicester sheep, based in Nunthorpe, North Yorkshire. The yarn is made from the fleeces of sheep that are allowed to grow old, which is spun, dyed and balled locally. This hat with a pretty decreasing lace design is a great way to try it out.
