Myrtle is a simple, Victorian era-inspired hat for babies and children aged premature to 5 years old.

It’s carefully designed and created especially for beginner knitters.

With its adorable tapered design in a pixie style, it’s reminiscent of sleeping hats from a bygone era, and the delicate Fair Isle colourwork and pompom in contrasting springtime yellow give it a modern twist.

It’s a wonderful gift to give at baby showers and a great project for knitters who want to experiment with Fair Isle work on a small scale and practice simple skills like ribbing, decreasing and working in the round. Use our recommended yarn in soft, hardwearing Dralon for best results.

All abbreviations and sizing guides are given in this deluxe pattern booklet, as well as easy to read instructions, high quality photographs and useful hints and tips to ensure your project flies off your needles in no time!
