This is a warming cowl knitted in wool containing a traditional stranded pattern from Gotland, Sweden called rosary. I designed it in honour of the life I got back after my severe pneumonia last winter. My friend in Rome sent me a rosary that I held in my hand until I got well and I still keep it close. I had never seen a rosary before but now I’m fascinated by the magic and power it carries. Actually it’s the symbolism that is magic. The kindness and the love we give each other, regardless of religious affiliation.

I hope that many people can keep warm, wearing my cowl, this winter and many winters to come.

Feel free to use the hashtag #mysteryoflightcowl on Instagram so that we can inspire each other!
