This flowing A-line tunic vest was inspired by a Longfellow poem and by warm summer trips to the beach. Reminiscent of a fisherman’s net, the body of the tunic is knit sideways in a two-row lace pattern that is easy to memorize. The wavy lace edging is knit at the bottom at the same time. Short rows add width for the A-line shape, and the only seaming is at the shoulders. The linen and silk blend yarn is perfect for the summer.
