Inspired by the form, function, and flower symbolism of the 16th century Parisian Unicorn Tapestries (artist unknown), traditional imagery of dueling animals, and the self-mythology of family crests, this throw is ready to become your family heirloom. Dueling unicorns recline in a field beneath a young oak tree with deep roots. This engaging pattern consists of a Fair Isle (stranded) color work body and a picked-up-and-knit border for a finishing touch.

Gauge may differ from original with tension differences.
This pattern can be knit in any gauge; however, the color work will look best in the indicated gauge (or smaller).
