About

Several years ago I embarked on an adventure in the dead of winter. I invite you to read about my sojourn, and if you’re intrigued by my account, you may want to plan your own trip to try to replicate my success! I would implore you, though, should you choose to plan your own such journey, exercise caution - as many of these creatures can be dangerous - and keep an open mind. You may not find the creatures in the same places I did.

To learn more about my journey and the creature/location pairings I made in my stole, read the adventure story in the “About” section of the pattern document.

Mythical Creatures Stole is a “choose-your-own-adventure” style design that relies heavily on your imagination and choices. For my own stole, I wrote a program (using my technology background) to randomize my choices and make a game out of it.

I’d love it if you would tag your finished garments and works in progress on social media with one or more of the following hashtags:

#mythicalcreaturesstole

#highfiberartz
