Nakarra Wrap
Nakarra refers to the story of the Seven sisters, the Australian Aboriginal Dreamtime legend of how the Pleiades constellation came to be. Nakarra is also a nod to the lovely Seven Sisters Arts yarn I used in my sample. Nakarra is a bias knit Wrap/Scarf, featuring a rhythmic chevron motif, worked in mosaic stitch. Working a single colour per row, mosiac knitting is a fun adventure in colour work, with dramatic results. Nakarra will work beautifully with gradient yarn as shown, or with 2 contrasting colours.
Nakarra is a part of the Chroma Collection; a series of nine shawl patterns, all featuring gradient yarns.
