The pattern calls for size 10 cotton crochet thread and a size 7 crochet hook. The finished doily shown in the listing photos measures 11-1/4 inches high x 20-3/4 inches wide (before ironing/blocking). The width of the doilies made from this pattern will vary, depending on the number of letters in the name you are making.

The pattern includes all of the letters in the alphabet (in all capital letters), as well as the ampersand (&) symbol, and it can fit up to a 12-letter name. Instructions are also included for the edging shown in the listing photos. You must have the ability to follow written, graph and diagram/symbol instructions.
