The ‘Namibia’ shawl is triangular in form.
Both the front and the back side look the same and can be worn both ways.
The pattern contains variations in crochet stitch direction, making it particularly interesting when working with wool or yarn with medium or long color gradients and using matching crochet hooks. Of-course it is also impressive with a single-colored yarn.

This shawl pattern is ideal for beginners with some previous knowledge and for advanced users. The instructions contain crochet fonts, useful written commentary and photos. It is not formulated for every stitch. In most cases the crochet fonts list both row numbering and crochet direction.

Comes in all sizes. The inside pattern (Part A) as well as the edge pattern (Part B) can be lengthened per individual need.
Attached to this is a table listing yarn consumption for the various patterns per size of shawl.

Material usage changes per size of shawl. Examples are listed with yarn consumption data. For example a normal sized shawl for an adult will require 1000 to 1500m of yarn.

Es ändert seine Häkelrichtung und wirkt daher besonders interessant mit Garn oder Wolle mit mittlerem oder längerem Farbverlauf und passender Häkelnadel. Natürlich ist es aber auch mit einfarbigem Garn eindrucksvoll.

Das Tuch ist für Anfänger mit Vorkenntnissen und Fortgeschrittene geeignet.

Es ist nicht jede Masche ausformuliert. Reihenzahl und Häkelrichtung sind zum Teil auch auf den Häkelschriften angegeben.

Die Größe ist nach Belieben wählbar.

Sowohl der Innenteil (Teil A) , als auch der Rand (Teil B) können individuell verlängert werden.

Daher ist eine Angabe des Garnverbrauchs im Anhang bei den Beispieltüchern angegeben und ihre Größe vermerkt.
Es werden viele Beispieltücher vorgestellt. Für ein Tuch in normaler Größe für Erwachsene benötigt man etwa 1000 bis 1500 m Garn.
