J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan and Wendy is a classic piece of literature! Bring the story to life for your little ones with crochet hand puppets!

This pattern is the Nana hand puppet. The beloved caretaker of the Darling children, Nana adds some fun to the story as she chases the children and Peter Pan’s shadow around the nursery. You can help to encourage the imaginations of your children with their very own puppets during story time!

It is an easy to follow pattern, and can be made quickly for a gift! You can forego the nurse’s cap and simply make an adorable dog puppet as well. :)

The Hook Nook yarn used here has been discontinued, BUT any worsted weight yarn will work! I had testers use Red Heart Super Saver.

This puppet is made in one size, fitting children through adults, so that parents can play too! However, it can easily be adjusted by tightening your gauge or going down a hook size, if you’d like one to fit small children better.

Made in mostly single crochet, basic crochet knowledge is all that’s needed! Being familiar with croching in rnds is helpful, and some knowledge of hand sewing pieces together.
