Nana’s Pencil Case

MATERIALS
• Worsted/Aran yarn (I used about 115m/125.8yds of Lion Brand Landscapes in the
color Tropics).
• 1 button (2.5cm diameter)
• Crochet hook (3.5 mm)
• Tapestry needle
• (Water and vinyl glue for starching the project - optional).

This pencil case is worked by crocheting the front, the back, the bottom, and the sides separately; all the pieces are then joined with the flat slip stitch seam.

It is a beginner-friendly project that can be worked up in just a few hours!
