This sweater takes advantages of the long striping color changes in Jojoland Melody. Both the background and the foreground are Melody variegated yarn. Unlike the classic FairIsle only two colorways as the yarn itself creates the color changes.

The bottom and sleeve hems are done with a corrugated rib using both colors. The front trim is I-Cord and an 18” zipper is used as the closure.

The cardigan body is knit in one piece and uses steeks for the front and sleeve openings.

I also knit both sleeves at the same time in one large piece. See the blog article. You are not required to do this, but it was really neat. It was the first time I tried this technique.
