The Nantucket bucket bag is inspired by the traditional Nantucket handwoven baskets. This pattern offers a unique blend of heritage and artistry with a few twists. From the rounded bottom shaped with wedges, to the cables that adorn the sides and the wide strap. Its spacious size will accommodate your essentials, and the soft cotton will make it a comfortable choice for busy days or leisurely outings. A versatile and chic addition to any wardrobe. Advanced beginners to intermediate knitting skill level is needed for this pattern with knowledge of or willingness to learn cables, picking up
stitches, 3 needle bind-off, SL ST, KFB, SSK, K2tog, P2tog, 2x2 rib, and rhythmic pattern repeats.

2-US size 4 (3.5mm) 24” circular needle or size to obtain gauge
12 stitch markers (not necessary but may be helpful)
