Napali is knit from the top down, seamlessly, and mostly in one piece. The collar, front edgings, and sleeves are picked up and added once the body of the vest is complete.

Yarn requirements:
Knit Picks Swish Worsted (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 110 yards/50g):
Indigo Heather 24097, 6 (7, 8, 9, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14) skeins.

Needles:
US 7 (4.5mm) 30-60” circular needles (length needed depends on size) and DPNs or two 24” circular needles for two circulars technique, or one 32” or longer circular needle for Magic Loop technique, or size to obtain gauge
