The shawl starts at the back of the neck with a garter tab cast on. It is triangular with four increases every right side row for the shaping. There is a garter edge along the top edge of the shawl which includes a slip stitch edging for a neat finish. The lace sections are separated by rows of garter stitch. The knitted on border is decorated with tiny beads (optional).
