Pattern Info

This extra-long cowl is meant to be worn doubled around your neck, or worn about your shoulders.
Throw it over your head. There are no rules in fashion! Added bonus: this puppy is totally reversible, and super easy :)

Of Note
This cowl uses helical knitting, which eliminates the jog between stripes that one gets with traditional knitting.

Gauge is not crucial, but this cowl was designed to use up almost all of two skeins of Twice As Nice. Cast on fewer stitches, or knit fewer rows if you are concerned about running out.

Here is a link to a video tutorial of helical knitting:

Materials
Yarn:
Twice As Nice by Farm & Wuzzies (80% Merino/ 10% Cashmere/ 10% Nylon blend- 231 yards per skein)
Color A: Roasty
Color B: Horse With No Name
Or any DK weight yarn, two skeins, in two different colors. Pick high contrast for a bold look, or colors with a similar tone for a colorwash effect.

Other suggested yarns:
Farm & Wuzzies Double Trouble
Megs & Co DK Merino
MooRoo Moonlight DK
Spun Right Round Squish DK

Needles:
Size 6 (4mm) circular knitting needles, 32” or longer or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge
21 stitches over 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch. Gauge is not crucial, but this pattern as written uses up almost all of your two skeins of yarn.

Sizing
51” (147 cm) circumference; 9” (23 cm) tall
