Naseem means breeze in Arabic. This stylish kerchief, with attached headband, can be worn in the breezy spring or fall, or as a shade from summer sun. It is a sweet, little, introduction to knitted lace which creates a pretty accessory in a short time. The lace is taken from a traditional Shetland pattern and used in a non-traditional way and is great for quick gifts or using up remnants from other fingering projects.

Gauge: 31 stitches X 46 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in lace pattern, blocked

32 stitches X 48 rounds = 4 inches (10 cm) in ribbing, unblocked

Finished Measurements: approximately 14 inches / 35.5 cm across widest point

7.75 inches / 20 cm from tip to edge of band

Skills Required: Increasing and decreasing, casting on at the end/beginning of a row, knitting with two strands held together, knitting in the round.
