Cela faisait longtemps que je n’avais pas tricoté un châle et lorsque Lolita, alias Lolilafée, m’a proposé de travailler avec ses laines (et son nouveau coloris) en vue du Ch’ti Bazar, j’ai sauté sur l’occasion. De plus, cette nouvelle couleur Tango est faite pour moi : un rouge orangé bien vif qui réveille l’automne et nos tenues !

Le châle Nasua est donc une pièce très grande, et tricotée légèrement déjaugée comme j’aime, avec des aiguilles plus grandes que celles préconisées avec la laine. Il est rythmé par une colonne vertébrale ajourée et quelques rangs envers et on le termine par de jolies côtes pour un beau tombé.

Pour l’achat de ce patron, 2 fichiers PDF seront à vous : une version numérique avec photos et une autre imprimable avec 1 seule photo et moins de pages. Il vous sera aussi envoyé une version livret, la version pdf qui me sert pour l’impression des livrets pour les salons.

Matériel : Aiguilles 5 mm ou aiguilles permettant d’obtenir le bon échantillon.
4 marqueurs (2 pour les augmentations sur les côtés et 2 pour la zone de motif) et une aiguille à laine.

Echantillon : 19 mailles/27 rangs pour 10 cm en jersey.

Laine :

Mon châle est réalisé avec 3 pelotes de N°1 – Mérinos (100% Mérinos superwash - 200m pour 50gr) et 3 pelotes de N°3 – Mohair Soie (72% Fine Kid Mohair et 28% Soie - 210m pour 25gr) de chez Lolilafée en coloris Tango.

Vous pouvez utiliser 1 fil Fingering + 1 fil Lace tenus ensemble ou 1 fil DK, tant que l’échantillon est respecté, en suivant le métrage ci-dessous :

Lycaon was born as an impromptu sketch in my diary. A wish to wrap myself in a fringed (or maybe not) bohemian looking shawl, with graphical features, that would be the perfect piece to wear during fall. A thick and enveloping accessory. That’s why when Nathalie from Woolissime offered me a yarn collaboration, this design appeared as the perfect idea.

Lycaon is a triangular shaped shawl, knit in garter stitch, from the tip to the upper edge and which features vertical lines. I chose to offer a variety of 2 possibilities on how to work this design, while keeping the same gauge:

• A smaller version without fringe, using a combination of two yarns, merino and mohair, for a squishy and comfy.
• A larger fringed version, knit out of organic merino, a delicious swelling fiber, which is perfect for highlighting the beauty of the vertical lines.

Size: Unique (70cm depth x 150cm wingspan)

Notions: 4.5 mm / US 7 needles, or size with which you get gauge.2 stitch markers, and a tapestry needle.

Gauge: 19 stitches /27 rows = 10 cm/4 in, in garter st, blocked.

Yarn: The smaller version, size 1, was knit out of 2 skeins of Lou (100% merino - 400m. / 100gr.) held together with 2 skeins of Stella (72% kidmohair, 28% silk - 420m. / 50gr.), from Woolissime, in the Bourgogne colourway.

Given that you get gauge, you can use DK weight yarn or 2 threads of fingering weight yarn held together.
