Knit from the arm to the finger tips. The ribbing creates a nice stretch to fit a variety of arms. Add/subtract length by just knitting more/fewer repeats of the cable pattern.

The thumb is made with a gusset, and it includes instructions for both partial fingers and mitt.

If you’re making the version with individual fingers the pinky instructions are missing. Here they are.

Pinky Instructions

Put the 8 rem sts on the waste yarn on needles. Attach yarn and knit across, picking up 2 sts on the ring finger side (these are the 2 sts you added when knitting the ring finger). Knit 4 rows in stockinette. BO purlwise.
