The Natica Cowl is knitted in the round and then joined end to end to form a double layer of warm, silky texture. Two sections, joined by a lateral braid, repeat along the cowl making a long loop that twists around the neck twice.

This a great beginner project for learning some skills beyond stockinette. Knitting in the round makes it a simple construction and the regular lace sections give it some interest. The lateral braids are easy to achieve after some practice and give it a lovely finish.
