Native Wishes Mosaic Overlay Blanket/Throw
Native Wishes is a repeat blanket. The repeat is 48 stitches. It is made up of a set of 5 individual patterns, each with a special meaning, that can be used in any order. It can be made with one solid background (as Darlene did), or different backgrounds by just adding in a row of SC between each colour change.
Yarn
I used a lot of stash yarn, with the smaller patterns using less than 300 yards, the Butterfly and Seasons, approx. 600 yards and the larger Feather and Rain section, approx. 1400 yards. I used Loops and Threads Impeccable in Aruba Blue, Big Twist in Dark Coral, Pound of Love in Chocolate, White, Sugar Cookie, Olive Green and Black and Bernat Super Saver in Burgundy
Darlene used: Loops and Threads Soft Classic in Black, Mustard, Ginger and Light Coral, Red Heart Super Saver in Turquoise and Pound of Love in Wintergreen.
Approx. size (without border): 43” x 65” based on 2 horizontal repeats (159 stitches x using mixed colours 238 rows).
Both Charts and Written Instructions are included. As this pattern is symmetrical, the Written is suitable for both left and right handed crocheters.
