Natsu top is a 1960s inspired, classic slightly cropped
halter neck top knit in the round from the bottom up
in stockinette. The edges and neck band are double knit for a clean and polished look.

This top is knit with fingering weight yarn and is an intermediate difficulty level.

The yarns I used for the samples were Drops Safran (100%cotton) and ice yarns mild fine (95% acrylic 5%elastane). Cotton or plant based yarn is ideal for a breathable summertime garment, but wool or wool blends tend to hold their shape better with wear so keep that and the climate where you live in mind when choosing your materials.
