Natura Waves Shawl
The Natura Waves Shawl is an intermediate pattern, featuring colourful, lacy stripes and an intricate wavy lace pattern at the bottom, that looks more difficult than it is. An i-cord edge gives the project a beautiful, professional-looking finish.
It was designed for yarn by de Draadzaak, a Dutch Indie handdyer. The colour combinations were inspired by nature. The ocean, leaves in the wind, the clouds during a sunset.
Naturally, the 3 colour palettes are:
Azura – A wavy hug of sky and sea
Verdora – The quiet in the woods, caught in soft threads
Solara – Glowing warmth, like a dancing sunset
The pattern can be purchased as part of a kit on www.earthyarns.com but can also be used as a standalone for any Light Fingering yarn you have in your stash. You will need just under 800 meters in total to knit this shawl.
