Inspired by the clean, simple lines of nature, these toy blocks are soft and stackable for babies and toddlers. The set of six blocks incorporates a few of children’s favorite parts of nature: grass, mountains, stars, water, birds, and forest. The contrasting color patterns are perfect for beginners who want to step into color work.
Charts are read such that Row 1 is either read from right to left as RS row or from left to right as WS row depending on where you are in
the pattern.
For blocks with a corresponding chart, sections 1–4 are worked over 17 sts (use the 17-st pattern outlined on the chart) whereas the sides are worked over 21 sts. The nature blocks are knit flat, then sewn up using the mattress stitch.
