Navagio is a basic sweater with the crew neck or high neck collar. It is worked seamlessly from the top down in stockinette stitch, using the saddle shoulder contiguous construction. After working the desired collar in ribbing, the neck is further shaped with back and forth short rows. Then the yoke is worked in rounds with shoulder increases to form the saddle shoulders. After that the sleeve caps are shaped with increases along with some back and front armhole increases to complete the yoke shaping. Then the sleeve stitches are placed on hold and the body is worked in rounds down to the bottom ribbing. Finally, the sleeve stitches are picked up to work the sleeves in rounds down to the cuffs.
