PATTERN NOTES
This Shawl begins with the Section 1, the curved lower edge. It is worked sideways and is shaped with shortrows. The outermost 8 stitches are worked in color B. Use the intarsia
method to change colors. Stitches for Section 2 are picked up along the side of Section 1. The remainder of the shawl is worked upward.

Notes: The definition for RT was omitted in the first version of this pattern. It stands for Right Twist and means: k2tog but do not slip sts from ndl, knit the first st again, slip both sts to right ndl.

The key symbol “b” was not defined in the first version of this pattern. It means to knit the stitch through the back loop.

Row 7 should read: With B sl 1, k7, with A k7, knit next st tog with wrap, k15, wrap next st and turn.

Row 9 should read: With B sl 1, k7, with A k22, knit next st tog with wrap, k14, sl 1, turn.
