There’s something so comforting about the basics! This sweater is a top-down raglan and is knit as a seamless piece. It features a high neck, elastic encased cuffs, and a long, tunic length body. The color changes are written for each size so you can have consistent color changes that match. This would be great for beginners or your first sweater.

Needles
Ribbing: US 6/ 4.0 mm circulars (14” cord length)
Main: US 8/ 5.0 mm circulars (14” and 30” cord length)

Sizes
32 (36, 40, 44) 48 52, 56, 60 inch bust circumference
This pattern is intended to have 2 inches of positive ease. For a more form fitting sweater, choose a yarn with a fair amount of stretch (wool) and choose a size closest to your bust measurement.

For a looser fit or to use a yarn with less stretch (cotton), select at least one size up from your bust measurement.

Yarn
The weight and yardages are estimates based off my sample knit in size 36 with full sleeves and the bottom hem going across my hips.
