When the weather calls for a scarf I prefer this shorter buttoned up style that fits neatly around my neck, it does the job of protecting against chills without the excess fabric that can be bulky and uncomfortable.

This neck warmer has fabulous chunky cables and is very quick to knit.

You will need 200 grams of super chunky yarn, two large buttons and a pair of 10mm needles, you may find a cable needle useful too.
