Another beautiful design by Lana Jois for Biscotte Yarns ♥ The Necklace Shawl is knitted with our merino / alpaca yarn to make it warm and cozy. Twisted stitch motifs are used to make an intricate lace shawl.

The shawl is knit from the top down with 2 stitches in garter stitch at each edge. Increases are made at each edge both on right and wrong sides. The twisted stitch lace pattern may be worked from charts or written instructions while the stockinette sections are worked from written instructions.

Finished size 66 (75)” wide and 17 ½ (20)”

Gauge 20 sts and 28 rows = 4” in lace pattern

Gauge is not critical for this pattern, but a change in gauge may result in different finished size and yarn requirements.

In addition to the shawl pattern, you will need the following material to knit this project:

Yarn Biscotte Yarns Flamel (60% merino, 20% nylon/polyamide, 20% camelid alpaca; 437 yd 400 m/3 ½ oz 100 g) in Poire, 1 (2) skein.
Needles US Size 5 (3.75mm): 32” circular needles. Circular needles are used to accommodate large number of stitches. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
