This pattern is a tribute to the turbulant life of Neeltje. It’s not a complete sock pattern but rather a pattern with which you can create a sock, by filling in parts of the design at your leisure. You can start knitting at the cuff if you so desire, but you can also start at the toe if you wish. Like a small puzzle, you need to select your cuff, heel and toe to put into the pattern. Like Neeltje found her path in life, you need to find your direction in creating a sock that fits you.

Dit patroon is een eerbetoon aan het turbulente leven van Neeltje. Het is niet zozeer een compleet sokkenpatroon, maar een patroon waarmee je een sok kan maken. Je kan de sok bij de boord beginnen, maar ook bij de teen. Je moet je eigen boord, hiel en teen uitzoeken om in het patroon te zetten. Net als Neeltje zul je je eigen weg door de sok moeten zoeken en je in moeten zetten om er een sok van te maken.
