Neive is a celebration of cables in motion. Its seamless construction features a shirt yoke where cables flow horizontally across the shoulders and into the sleeves, meeting the body’s vertical lines for striking visual contrast. The result is a sweater that feels both timeless and modern, with an easy fit that dresses up or down effortlessly.
Though the cablework looks intricate, the rhythm soon becomes soothing and intuitive, making Neive a joy to knit. A puff stitch detail adds extra texture, supported by a step-by-step video tutorial to guide you through. Elegant yet relaxed, Neive is designed to become the sweater you’ll reach for again and again.

CONSTRUCTION
Neive is worked modularly and seamlessly, beginning at the center back with a cast-on for the right yoke piece. After working to the outer shoulder, the stitches are placed on hold, and the left yoke piece is picked up from the cast-on edge. Once complete, stitches are picked up along the lower edge of the yoke piece to work the back to the underarm.
The front is created by picking up stitches along the front shoulder edges and worked to the underarm. Front and back are then joined and worked in the round to the hem, with instructions provided for both a straight or a tapered body. Finally, stitches are picked up for the sleeves; after shaping the sleeve caps with short rows, the sleeves are worked in the round.
