This pattern is for Nelson and Nellie, a sweet Gnome couple.

I’ve always loved gnomes so I had to make some of my very own. They sit happily together on the shelf in my craftroom.

The gauge isn’t terribly important. Use the yarn and hook that you are comfortable with. I would suggest using the same weight yarn throughout.
