This squishy beanie begins with relaxing ribbing that transitions into an engaging yet easy-to-memorise textured pattern, and can be worn with a double or triple folded brim for different styles. The striped ribbing and wavy texture are inspired by Nemo the clown fish, bringing a sense of comfort and playfulness to the design.

21 sts x 29 rnds to 4” / 10 cm on US 4 / 3.5 mm needles in 5 x 1 x 1 x 1 Rib, after blocking.

CONSTRUCTION
This beanie is worked bottom-up in the round. The brim is worked in a simple rib pattern. When the brim is done, the work is turned inside out and continued in the round in the other direction. The head is worked in a simple texture pattern that combines the previous rib pattern with increases and decreases. Decreases to shape the crown are worked within the texture pattern.
