10x10 cm: 9 moss stitches x 16 moss stitch rows for body.

This piece was inspired by the true Matriarch of my family, my grandmother (and best friend) who taught me how to crochet some 20 years ago. She stood at 6 feet tall, always in a neat bowl cut and a handmade sweater. She bowed to no man, and taught the girls of our family to do the same. This particular piece is an ode, in few words but a lot of yarn, to one of the most influential women of my life.
