I’ve been staring at the seductive MadTosh Unicorn Tails for so long thinking … how do I want to revel in these? The rainbow in the neons kept calling my name. The stitch in this NEON Rainbow was inspired by one of my favorite hat patterns. The challenge was just how to stripe and how to add a border that matches and works with this unique fabric.

NEON Rainbow is knit double stranded which creates a luscious lofty look. It’s also a great opportunity to hold two different colors at once. I call these the marbled stitches.

There is an update to this pattern as of March 22, 2015. If you downloaded this pattern during the free period, I’m not sure you’ll receive the updated PDF.

This basketweave stitch asks you drop stitches off … and not fret. Also be able to tell what a twisted stitch looks like so as not to do it.

Tip: there’s a good bit leftover. If you’re substituting yarns, don’t fret about needing the full yardage. For extra notes, see my somewhereoverthe NEON RAINBOW.
