The design of the sweater is timeless and therefore this top is fit to be part of your every day wardrobe. It is knitted bottom up in the round and almost seamless. The comfortable ease especially in the front helps with hiding your belly, if you have one and don’t like to show it to the world. It has a flattering fit for women with a bit of a bigger size.

For the most part the plain stockinette stitch makes this a relaxing and easy knit. The lace part is not all too difficult but if you never knitted lace before, it can be challenging. But also helps you to learn a little more about lace knitting.

The shoulder caps are worked top down in short rows which might be new to you. It might feel a little strange in the beginning but once you get the hang of it, it’s as easy as knitting a regular sleeve in the round. And it provides a perfect fit for your shoulders.
So all in all for the experienced knitter this a great in between /TV knit and for the beginning knitter a good project to level up your skills.
