A part of the Nestled Series, which also includes a wrap designed for experienced knitters, “Nestled With Color,” and a wrap designed for beginning knitters, “Simply Nestled,” as well as a version of the “Nestled Fingerless Mitts” suitable for bulky or super bulky yarn, this design series was commissioned to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of Prairie Yarn Over, a chapter of TKGA located in eastern Iowa.

This pattern is designed to be worked from the top down so that, if you are working them up with left-over yarn from the wrap, you can adjust length at the wrist according to yarn supply.

This design is worked in a couple styles of simple rib and involve no seaming and no special thumb gusset, making them remarkably simple and quick to knit. They are worked, top-down until the thumb opening is reached, and then worked flat to creat a thumb opening, and rejoined for in-the-round knitting after the thumb opening is complete.
