An essential for at home or on holiday: the Net Bag goes
with you to the supermarket or the beach. It carries your
towel, book and sunscreen. Or a fresh load of fruit for the
week.
The rectangular shape is versatile and classic.
For this Net Bag, we crochet a piece that we then fold in
two and sew the sides shut.
By doing this, the bag stretches slightly less. The handles
are also crocheted double for that reason. This way, they
won’t cut into your hands or shoulder when carrying heavy
items!
We start with a border of half treble crochets and then
continue with a coarse mesh pattern. In the middle of the
work, there is another block of half treble crochets (the
bottom of the bag), and then we switch back to the mesh
stitch, finishing with an upper border for the back.

The model is available in one size, about 29 x 30 cm

We made this with crochet needle 5 mm in a loose stitch, you can change needle size to right gauge.

We use 2 skeins of 100gr Cotton Cloud from Les Cousines (100gr= 110 m)
