The NETTIE V SWEATER is a beautiful knitted sweater with a special combination of stitches, which gives a lovely effect. With this simple and clear pattern you can get started knitting your own eyecatcher. This chunky knit can be combined with many outfit styles: a skinny jeans and sneakers, leather-look leggings with Uggs or you can wear it with a maxi skirt and your favorite boots. This pattern is also available without the V-neck.

STITCHES AND ABBREVIATIONS
I believe that the sweater is not very difficult to knit, but you do need some knitting experience. The techniques you need for this knitting pattern are:

• Knit (K) and purl (P) stitches alternated (rib stitch)
• Knit (K) and purl (P) rows alternated (stockinette stitch)
• Slip stitch knitwise
• Slip stitch purlwise
• K2Tog: knit two stitches together (knitwise)
• P2Tog: purl two stitches together (purlwise)
• Mattress stitch

SIZES
The knitting pattern contains two sizes: S/M and (L/XL). The sweater has an oversized fit. The length and/or width of the design can be adjusted to your own wishes. If you make any adjustments to the length and/or width, you will need extra yarn.

MATERIALS

• Knitting needles: 6 mm (US10 / UK4) and 10 mm (US15 / UK000)
• Tapestry needle to seam the sweater up.
• Stitch holder
• Scissors

YARN
The natural-colored yarn is a combination of 4 strands Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk, in the color 01 - naturel (77% Alpaca / 23% Silk). I used 16 skeins (2240 meters in total / 560 meters per strand). I used 4 strands of yarn together. For size L/XL, you need 4 skeins of yarn extra (2800 meters in total / 700 meters per strand).

Any yarn or yarn combination suitable for a 10 mm needle can be used to knit this sweater. I recommended knitting a swatch, especially when using a substitute yarn.
