I am a daydreamer by nature, and it is often the case that imagination takes over. Unless one is prone to taming it (which I’m not), imagination has a way of finding a path forward. It unravels at the most unexpected of times, often catches us by surprise and leaves us standing in a state of contemplation.
I’m astonished at the intense transformation of the mundane when applied some creativity, some imagination. I sat down to design a cowl. A seemingly simple pattern. I looked at it from a totally different perspective. I just sat down, and thought about how to do things the ‘wrong’ way, the ‘risky’ way. This is what happened.
The Neula Cowl does things its own way.
It uses mohair held triple - mohair is no longer delicate, nor fragile - it becomes a rock solid airy delight. It’s a quick-knit but it looks like a dedicated project. The lace seems difficult, but it’s super fun and easy to do.
You see, doing things your own way has its perks. Let your imagination run wild.
