The sweater is worked from the top down, starting with the front and back, each worked flat. Then after separating the batwing sleeves, the body is worked in the round. Long ribbed cuffs are worked for the sleeves, a ribbed hem for the body, and a loose turtleneck collar is knitted for the neckline and then folded over. The surface pattern of the body consists of garter stitch and vertical lines created with knit stitches.
The pattern is video supported.
