“Never Fading” shawl is my Valentine gift.

Make the yarns fade instead ;)

Actually this shawl is also my Valentine gift for my Hubby, who creates really cool colors but doesn’t knit (good enough) to showcase them well. I went into his studio, grabbed three skeins and made the easiest shawl ever to show him how pretty his yarns are :)

Size
One: approx. 125cm/50” wide and 60 cm/24” long at center spine.

Yarn
3 skeins of Big Singles by Martin’s Lab (80% merino, 20% nylon; 70m/77y per 100g). Shown in colorways Carousel (CC1), Candy Sparrow (CC2) and Prismatic (CC3).

Needles
8.0 mm/US #11 circular needle (80 cm/32” long).
9.0 mm/US #13 circular needle (for BO only).

Other
4 stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving.

Gauge
9 sts and 16 rows = 10 cm/4” in Rev St st measured flat after wet blocking.
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
