I designed this simple raven to be a cute little companion for my Edgar Allan Poe stuffie, but he works equally well on his own, as you can see from the pics.

This pattern scales easily to your yarn, so if you make him from Caron Soft, he’ll be a wee little guy, and if you make him with Lion Jiffy, he will be the sort of raven you don’t want to meet in a dark alley on Halloween night. When you make him with a standard medium weight yarn (e.g. I Love This Yarn), I recommend a small safety eye. You’ll also need a scrap of black felt.
