This is a fun knit, requiring a little bit of patience working the rounds with the pattern. I think it’s just enough to keep your interest throughout the project! This pattern is designed to be worked on gauge – using either Aran/heavy worsted wool or light worsted, the choice is yours!

YARN:
A. Aran/heavy worsted: 100-130 m/110-140 yd of Aran/heavy worsted weight yarn = approx. 150m/165yd per 100g.

Shown in Visjögarn (sport/5ply) from Östergötlands Ullspinneri: 0.75 skeins = 75g = 230m (245 yards) – yarn held double = gauge 16 sts.

B. Worsted: 110-140 m/120-150 yd of light worsted weight yarn = approx. 210m/230yd per 100g.

I strongly recommend you to pick a yarn that gives you a firm drape at this gauge, rather than a loose drape.
